BIT Foundation is a public organization, whose main mission is to support the definition and implementation of the R+D+I strategies within Balearic Islands through technological development and entrepreneurship promotion.

 Main objectives of the Foundation include:

• To facilitate the access to information and communication technologies for enterprises and public administration by developing technological applications and infrastructures,
• To create a favorable business environment for innovation,
• To incubate innovative technology based enterprises and start-ups and,
• To support services, provided by public administrations and enterprises, to become digital and use them effectively and efficiently.
